Assistant Cook

 

Main functions : 

Under the supervision of the Food Service Manager, the person in this position will:

  • Perform product set-up;
  • Perform various preparation tasks;
  • Serve at the food counter;
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the workplace;
  • All other tasks assigned by his/her superior.

Equipment rental manager

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the equipment rental department;
  • Serve customers for ski and/or snowboard equipment rentals;
  • Keep track of rental equipment inventory and maintenance;
  • Hire and train staff;
  • Supervise employees.

 

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the ski industry;
  • Enjoy working with the public;
  • Have a sense of responsibility and leadership;
  • Demonstrate autonomy, organization and initiative;
  • Have good manual skills;
  • Thoroughness, precision and attention to detail.

 

CONDITIONS                                                                                                                                                                                

  • Full time seasonal position;
  • Employment period: November to early April;
  • 32 to 40 hours/week (including weekends);
  • Schedule from Thursday to Monday and as needed;
  • Salary according to experience;
  • Free season pass.
Groomer operator

 

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Grooming and leveling trails using appropriate grooming techniques to maintain ski conditions;
  • Spreading of snow;
  • Clogging;
  • Grooming of ice plates;
  • Excavation if necessary, etc…

 

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience MANDATORY;
  • Have a valid driver’s license;
  • Manual dexterity;
  • Thoroughness;
  • Sense of observation;
  • Sense of responsibility;
  • Ability to work nights;
  • Attention to detail.

 

CONDITIONS                                                                                                                                                                                 

  • Seasonal position (until the end of April);
  • Start date: As soon as possible;
  • + or – 30 hours/week;
  • Variable work schedule and sometimes on call (depending on the weather conditions and the traffic of the ski resort);
  • Position requires working nights, weekends and holidays;
  • Salary to be discussed;
  • Season pass provided.
Snow School Counter Attendant

 

ABOUT THE POSITION

RESPONSABILITIES

Reporting to the Director of the On-Snow School, the candidate will:

  • Greets customers at the snow school counter;
  • Informs customers about the various products and services of the snow school;
  • Answer the phone and emails;
  • Takes reservations for lessons and registers them in the computer system
  • Maintains regular contact with instructors and informs them of any lessons assigned to them;
  • Make sales and course reservations;
  • Ensures the organization and smooth operation of the snow school counter;
  • Performs cash counts and prepares his or her deposit for the day at the end of the shift;
  • Organizes work area and file management effectively;
  • Performs all other related duties.

 

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Knowledge related to the operation of an on-snow school;
  • CSIA, PESA, FESC, ACMS OR PEPN instructor level (an important asset);
  • Computer skills;
  • Knowledge of PARADOCS software (an asset);
  • Bilingualism required;
  • Autonomy, work organization, versatility, interpersonal skills, punctuality;
  • Ability to manage priorities and work on multiple files simultaneously;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Sense of teamwork;
  • Must be available on weekends.

 

CONDITIONS

  • Part-time seasonal position (including weekends);
  • Possibility of working more hours during spring break;

Snowmaking Attendant

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install snowmaking equipment;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of the equipment;
  • Move the snow guns;
  • Check the quality of the snow.

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Years of experience in the above mentioned tasks an asset;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Experience in snowmobile driving would be an asset;
  • Ability to work outside (cold);
  • Ability to work at night;
  • Good physical condition;
  • Manual skills;
  • Resourcefulness;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Sense of observation;
  • Sense of responsibility;

Mountain attendant

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare the mountain in the fall for the official opening of the ski resort;
  • Carry out various painting, maintenance and repair work, etc..;
  • During the operation period of the ski resort :
  • Perform the operations required for the safe embarking and disembarking of skiers;
  • Maintain the landing areas;
  • Ticket verification;
  • Assist the lift mechanic;
  • Act as a parking attendant;
  • Shovel public areas such as stairs, decks and other areas as needed;
  • Empty outdoor garbage cans.

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Aptitude for customer service;
  • Professional attitude and behaviour;
  • Must have a valid driver’s license;
  • Experience in snowmobile driving would be an asset;
  • Ability to work outside (cold);

Customer Service Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the General Manager and in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant, the candidate will:

  • Supervise the customer service staff;
  • Hire staff;
  • Coordinate the workforce and ensure that tasks are completed according to established priorities and order;
  • Ensures that all employees have punched in. Prepares work schedules based on anticipated traffic and employee availability;
  • Acts as a resource person when required by events or the severity of the dispute;
  • Provide technical support to different departments
  • Management of the boutique
  • Coordinate the visits of the different groups

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • 2 years experience;
  • Possess leadership skills;
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written;
  • Strong sense of responsibility, planning and organization;
  • Demonstrate initiative, autonomy and resourcefulness;
  • Ability to manage priorities and work on several files simultaneously;
  • Ability to work under pressure;

  • Knowledge of ski resort operations and the Paradocs program (mtnos) an asset;

Instructor

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach skiing or snowboarding to a diverse clientele, either individually or in groups;
  • Teach warm-up exercises, skiing and snowboarding techniques, and prevention measures;
  • Promote safety in snow sports;
  • Complete skier/boarder evaluation forms;
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable customer experience.

SKILLS / PROFILE REQUIRED

  • CSIA, PESA, CSEF, CASI or NCCP instructor certification;
  • Aptitude for working with the public and interpersonal relations;
  • Ability to teach skiing or snowboarding in different weather conditions;
  • Verbal communication skills;
  • Good physical condition;
  • Team spirit;
  • Team spirit; Good humour and dynamism;
  • Bilingualism (an asset).

CONDITIONS

  • Seasonal position;
  • Part time;
  • Must be available on weekends.
Préposé(e) montagne

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Préparer la montagne à l’automne en vue de l’ouverture officielle de la station de ski;
  • Effectuer des travaux divers de peinture, d’entretien, de réparation, etc…;
  • En période d’opération de la station :
  • Effectuer les opérations requises à l’embarquement et le débarquement des skieurs de façon sécuritaire;
  • Entretenir les aires d’embarcadère et débarcadère;
  • Vérification de billets;
  • Assister le mécanicien des remontées mécaniques;
  • Agir à titre de préposé au stationnement;
  • Pelleter les aires publics tel que les escaliers, terrasses et autres emplacements au besoin;
  • Vider les poubelles extérieures.

 

COMPÉTENCES / PROFIL RECHERCHÉ

  • Aptitude pour le service à la clientèle;
  • Attitude et comportement professionnel;
  • Être détenteur d’un permis de conduire valide;
  • Expérience en conduite de motoneige serait un atout;
